London: The inaugural Trilateral Global Summit convened by World Humanitarian Drive (WHD) was held on June 19th and 20th in London with participants from over 25 countries including Bank CEO’s, Policy Makers, Journalist, Corporate Heads, Business Leaders, Politicians from UK, Portugal, Morocco, Bahrain, India, notable keynote addresses from CEO of Doha Bank Dr Raghavan Seetharaman, former Managing Director of World Bank Group Dr James Lee number of notable figures echoed the sentiments of the summit of enhancing “Trade for Peace” an Idea initiated by Indian origin British, Abdul Basit Syed, Founder of WHD to support U.K’s trade relations specially with India and other countries who proudly said, “This summit has exceeded our expectations in term of the quality of the presentations most importantly trade and investments opportunities that it has enabled between our nations”.

The summit session where held in UPF’ HQ, U.K, In Croydon Town Hall hosted by the Worshipful Mayor of Croydon Humayun Kabir who appointed and honoured WHD Founder Abdul Basit Syed as International Ambassador for Croydon Borough of Greater London in the summit a proud achievement of NRI, during the visit to Croydon Town Hall CEO of Doha Bank, Dr Seetharaman has conveyed his interest in exploring future investment opportunities this summit has offered not only in U.K but India and other countries of interest, House of Lords, Palace of Westminister hosted by Baroness Verma and attended by WHD Patron Hon. Chris Philp M.P

The Trilateral Global Summit focused on promoting integration of global economy and businesses as a pathway for peace. A number of other influential figures addressed the summit these included Humphrey Hawksley Former BBC Foreign Correspondent, Hon. Abdel Majid Fassi Fihri M.P. Morocco, Hon. Angela Guerra M.P Portugal, Hon.Sandra Pereira M.P Portugal, H.E.Angelina Teny Former Minister Sudan.

At different times in the conference number of awards where presented to eminent personalities these included, Dr Raghavan Seetharaman CEO Doha Bank Qatar, Mrs Maria Victoria M Acosta, Senior Vice President of Megaworld International Corporation from Philippines, Hon. Ali AlDerazi Former M.P. and Fundament SPC Director, Bahrain.
It is Intended The Trilateral Global Summit will reconvene in June 2020.
