Sushant Singh Rajput’s last Movie Dil Bechara released on Friday, at 7:30 p.m IST, streaming on Disney Hotstar. This movie is based on the novel ‘The Fault in our Stars’ by John Green.

Dil Bechara is about the story of two lovers suffering from cancer. The movie casts Sushant Singh Rajput and Sanjana Singh. The two main characters are Kizie Bassu and Immanuel Rajkumar Junior or Manny. Kizie was suffering from thyroid cancer, which has now affected her lungs, requiring her to be on oxygen support most of the time and manny had osteosarcoma. Manny always believed to live in the present and teaches her girlfriend kizie the same.

The Jamshedpur boy wanted to fulfill kizie’s wish to visit Paris and to meet Abhimanyu Vaid (Saif Ali Khan). Kizie’s life according to her was boring with all the hospital visits and medicines. She meets manny at college and later at cancer support group. They shoot a Bhojpuri film for Manny’s best friend, Jagdish Pandey (sahil Vaid), who lost his eyesight due to cancer. The lovers went to Paris to fulfill all of Kizie’s dreams.

The movie also teaches us about life. Dialogues like, ‘Now or Never; Umar ke saal kitne hai gin gin ke kya karna ,Beet jaayein naa ginti mein hi warna; Tum naa huye mere to kya , Mai tumhara mai tumhara mai tumhara raha; Tum mere heart keliye zaroori ho , It beats faster every time you come closer; Hero banne keliye popular nahi hona padta , Woh real life me bhi hote hai teaches deep meaning for life.

Sushant had done a brilliant performance that is sensitive and lively. Sushant had lived every moment into the movie. Talking about Sanjana Singh, she had done a confidence performance. The sound track is a soothing fantastic and foot- tapping music.
‘Dil Bechara’ is a very emotional film and will always be remembered as Sushant’s last film. It has been rated highest on IMBD.
It should personally be rated as a 5 star movie.
