An Indian Television actor, dancer, entrepreneur, philanthropist and astrophysicist, gone too soon. A man with fantasies, Sushant Singh Rajput. Sushant, a boy that belonged from patna, was born on 21st January, 1986. Sushant was a student at Delhi Technological University. Here he developed his interest towards acting and dancing and got connected with Shiamak Davar’s dance classes. Within a few months joining the dance classes, sushant got a chance to perform with the group of background dancers at 51st Filmfare Awards. In 2006, he also got a chance to perform in the grand opening of Commonwealth games, held in Australia.Talking about his career, he started working in television shows between (2008-2011). The role of Preet Juneja in “Kis Desh Mein Hai Mera Dil”, Manav Deshmukh in “Pavitra Rishta” (producer Ekta Kapoor). In 2010, he joined a dance reality show, “Zara Nachke Dikha”, where his team dedicated the performance on mother’s day to his mother, Usha Singh, who died in 2002. In December 2010, he got connected as a runner up contestant in “Jhalak Dikhlaja 4”, where he was paired to the choreographer Shampa Sonthalia.Rajput got selected for his very first film in 2013, “Kai Po Che”, where he worked with Rajkumar Rao and Amit Sadh. The film was based on Chetan Bhagat’s ‘The Three Mistakes of My Life’. After a huge success of ‘Kai Po Che’, the second movie he worked on was “Shudh Desi Romance”produced by Yash Raj Films, where he worked with Parineeti Chopra and Vaani Kapoor.Sushant was next seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s “PK” in 2014, where he worked with Anushka Sharma and Amir Khan. PK was proved to be one of the highest-grossing Indian films.In 2016, he was seen in Neeraj Panday’s biographical film “M.S. Dhoni- The Untold Story”, in lead role of Indian Cricketer,Mahindra Singh Dhoni. In 2017, “Raabta” with Kriti Sannon, in 2018 “Kedarnath” co-starring Sara Ali Khan.In 2019, he appeared in Abhishek Chaubey’s “Sonchiriya” opposite Bhumi Pednekar. He appeared in Nitesh Tiwari’s “Chhichhore” opposite Shraddha Kapoor that released on 6 September 2019.Later that year, he starred in “Drive” alongside Jacqueline Fernandez, which was released on Netflix.In 2020, he starred in Mukesh Chhabra’s remake of “The Fault in Our Stars” titled “Dil Bechara”. The film was slated to be released in May of that year but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.Sushant Singh Rajput was fond of stars, moon and the space. His recent social media posts were all about them.He also had a telescope. Sushant singh rajput made 3 major donations from 2018-2019.
Rajput was found hanged on 14th June,2020 from ceiling fan in his home in Bandra, Mumbai. He was suffering from clinical depression from past few years, the post mortem report said.
